Environmental Policy
Motivaction is aware that carrying out research work has the potential to have a negative effect on the environment.
So to minimize this effect, a long-term environmental policy and implementation plan has been drawn up. The guiding principle in creating this policy and plan is the ISO-14001 Environmental Management Systems norm. Motivaction’s environmental policy has been certified in accordance with this norm since November 2011.
Our environmental policy describes the effects our various activities have on the environment (positive, neutral or negative). It is our explicit wish to manage any negative effects on the environment in such a way that these effects will, at a minimum, not increase in scale and, where possible, we attempt to reduce any negative effects. In all of these efforts, we aim to strike a healthy balance between our business objectives, personnel policy goals, and the social goals related to the environment. These latter goals represent an important part of our environmental policy.
Once a year, Motivaction formulates concrete plans and monitors the progress of the implementation of these plans. With respect to the implementation of the environmental policy, Motivaction has created a phased program for realizing the measures, including the corresponding manpower and financial resources required. In doing so, the objectives that have an immediate priority, and those which can be realized at a later stage, are weighed against one another.
Through its environmental policy and plan, Motivaction strives to translate its leading position in market research into a pioneering role in the industry when it comes to its ‘social footprint’. At the same time, the implementation plan is also designed to keep employees and stakeholders fully informed about its objectives and activities.
