Companies’ love affair with Developing Markets is coming to an end. Like many new lovers, the seduction and passion is wearing off to be replaced by a cold hearted appraisal of the pros and cons of the relationship.

 

A closer inspection reveals five, often hidden, challenges for Multinational Companies. The good news is that by meeting these challenges, multinational companies (MNC’s) have the opportunity to ride the next wave of Globalisation and beat the competition.

About the Glocalities study

For Glocalities, Motivaction surveyed more than 48,000 respondents in 20 countries and 12 languages in December 2013 and January 2014. The in depth study was conducted in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Japan, China, South Korea, India, Russia, Turkey, South Africa, Italy, Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. This selection of countries contains 58% of the world population and represents 75% of the world economy.
